The FCU and several CAM members worked together to reunite people with many of these shipments after months and even years of not having their possessions. The Independent Mover of the Year Award is presented to a prominent independent household goods mover who demonstrates outstanding perform- ance – in community service, employee relations, innovative operations – and service excellence with customers. Firemen Movers were recognized for operating a distinguished company that represents the highest standard of moving services and as well for their interest in advancing the betterment of the moving industry in the community. Agent of the Year – Quality Move Management Inc. The Agent of the Year Award is presented to a prominent van line agent who demonstrates outstanding corporate citizenship – in community service, employee relations, innova- tive operations – and service excellence with customers. QMM achieved high standards of quality control and an exceptional level of satisfaction with their services. They are respected both by customers and industry partners alike. Also presented at the dinner was the Move for Hunger Award that recognizes a moving company that has contributed the most food for the cause. This year, CAM member Quality Move Manage- ment was the honoured recipient. QMM held food drives at four locations in Canada. Their goal was to collect 10,000 lbs. of non-perishable food. Their branches in Brampton, Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver combined to collect more than 52,000 lbs. of food — that’s enough to provide 43,500 meals! Congratulations to each and every one of you!
