R esults from CERC’s 2018 Provincial Career Mobility Survey are in, and the most promising takeaway from this year’s study is that a majority of Canadian workers are willing to relocate interprovincially for a job. A total of 72 per cent of survey respondents said they could be motivated to take an out-of-province assignment given the right incentives. Conducted in partnership with Ipsos Public Affairs every four years, the survey spotlights the relocation desires and habits of today’s employees. The results of the most recent study were gleaned from more than a thousand working Canadians across a broad spectrum of industries – all of whom took the time to respond to the poll.
