underground by tunnels and structural 
systems and were fabricated and installed 
by Benson Steel Limited of Bolton, Ont. 
The Benson team also worked on three 
other stations on the Steeles West Line 
expansion project. 
The project was challenging in nature 
due to the complex geometry, tight 
radiuses, 
demanding 
timelines 
and 
constrained site conditions that would 
give the site its “futuristic” appearance.
