According to Aaron Notte, “Our employees meet the needs of our customers through teamwork, continually upgrading their skills as standards in the industry change, and acting professionally on the jobsite.” He added that this team philosophy and exceptional customer service extends into every aspect of the business. Interior and their staff focus on the needs of the local community and support it whenever possible. The company has received the “Best of the Okanagan Readers’ Choice” award as the best roofing company in the South Okanagan for six years running. The company looks to the Okanagan commu- nity when hiring new staff and supports local suppliers and businesses. “We feel strongly about giving back to the commu- nity,” says Jo-Ann. In 2017 when a resident of Penticton was scammed by an unscrupulous roofing contractor and Interior learned of her plight, the Interior team stepped in to help. With the assistance of Pro-line Construction Materials, who donated the roofing materials, the Interior field crew donated their time on a Saturday and Sunday to accomplish the re-roof and in the end they had a very satisfied customer! Interior has also contributed the roofing to a Habitat for Humanity build, donated the roofing at a local ski club and have sponsored minor sports teams in hockey, baseball, soccer and basketball. “We believe community commitment is valuable from everyone’s point of view and do not hesitate to act when asked,” stated Jo-Ann. The company is proud of a number of roofing projects that they have completed in the province. One in particular was the roof for the new cultural school on the Outma Sqilx’w First Nation lands. The unique design of the school was covered by a number of architectural magazines worldwide.
