has been a new and unexpected chal- lenge, providing me with a tremendous opportunity to learn and develop both personally and professionally. At the 2018 CERC AGM, we announced the Subject Matter Expert (SME) program, a key initiative to help members find the expertise they need. As mobility continues to become more complex in a disruptive business climate, CERC will leverage the social media capabilities of our website to implement the SME program, making it accessible to all members 24/7. Please sign up to become a CERC SME when we launch this program early in 2019 and encourage your colleagues to take advantage of the wealth of knowledge that will be available. Send us your feedback, no matter how small. Feed- back is the only way we’ll know how to evolve the program to meet the needs of CERC members. In the year ahead, our most important objective is growth – growing both our membership and our volunteer base in the regional committees. Encourage your colleagues and clients to join CERC. All you have to do is to tell them why you joined and how you have benefited. The rest is up to them. With our new and highly energized CERC Board and with your participa- tion, 2018/19 could be one of our most successful years yet and I’m excited by what we can achieve. As I begin my journey as your chair, I must thank Fred Haladay and the entire board, as well as Steve Cryne, Hilary Prue and Susanna Shankman, for the tremendous support and confi- dence they have placed in me. Most importantly, I thank all our members who dedicate so much of their time and expertise to CERC.
