Atlas Van Lines recently released its 59th Annual Corporate Relocation Survey, revealing that the industry is showing continued resili- ence in tough economic times. Most companies – 61 per cent of those surveyed – expect to increase their relocation budgets in 2026, and 30 per cent reported no expected change to their budgets. While almost half of the surveyed companies (46%) reported an increase in declined relocation offers, 54 per cent of respondents said their relocation volume increased in 2025, while 52 per cent said they expect it to increase in 2026. The biggest outside factor influencing relocation decisions remains economic conditions (53%), followed by lack of qualified people at the local level (27%) and housing concerns (26%). Atlas survey reveals resilience in relocation McWilliams welcomes new VP McWilliams Moving Systems welcomed Steven Lindsay to its team as the company’s new vice president of national accounts and business development. In his new role, Lindsay will focus on strengthening partnerships with corporate accounts, expanding service offerings, promoting cross-border capabilities and prioritizing value-added solu- tions for smaller relocations. Lindsay has a long history working in the transportation and logistics industries, having spent the last three decades working in the field and consistently exceeding customer expectations while providing quality solutions and devel- oping beneficial relationships. Bristol Global Mobility announced the promotion of Oliver Jean to a client engagement support role. In his new position Jean will assist with the company’s continued growth, including its expanded operations in Canada. Since joining Bristol Global Mobility in 2022, Jean has served as the primary contact for Canadian assignees as a key mobility advisor. He regularly earned recognition for his reliability, expertise and client-focused approach. Moving forward, he will support client engagement directors and collaborate across teams to strengthen client relationships as the company continues to scale.
