INDUSTRY NEWS SPRING 2026 Corporate Stays has expanded into Paraguay with the acquisition of more than 150 furnished apartments in Asunción. The company began operations in the country’s capital in November of last year, marking a significant milestone in its Latin American growth strategy. Paraguay will now serve as the company’s headquarters for MERCOSUR countries. To make a strong entry into the market, Corporate Stays acquired an established local company already operating furnished apartments in downtown Asunción, allowing them to start with over 150 operational units from day one. As part of this acquisition, Corporate Stays integrated a team of over 25 experienced professionals. The company plans to add around 100 new units per year in Paraguay, reaching a total of 400 apartments under manage- ment within three years. As well, it launched Corporate Stays Real Estate Paraguay, a new division dedicated to rental property acquisition, sales and investment management, with plans to develop a flagship building within the next three years. Corporate Stays expands to Paraguay Aires celebrates team achievements Aires recently celebrated a new appointment, as well as a special certification for one of its team members. The company appointed Eunice Look as its new immigration manager, APAC, a role that will see her overseeing immi- gration operations across the Asia-Pacific region. Based in Malaysia, Look will provide clients with strategic immigration solutions and compliance expertise as well as support for Aires’ offices in Singapore. Look brings extensive global mobility experience to her new position from her tenure at EY, where she developed a strong reputation for delivering people-centred solu- tions and driving talent strategy initiatives. Her expertise spans the spectrum of international workforce move- ment, with a focus on simplifying the complexities of cross-border transitions. In other company news, Peter McShea, Aires’ privacy officer and manager of privacy, risk and compliance, was named a Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP) by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). The designation recognizes professionals who demonstrate exceptional knowledge, leadership and commitment to the field of data privacy. Under McShea’s leadership, Aires has achieved ISO 27001 and 27701 certifications, built GDPR- and CCPA-compliant frameworks for over 3,000 vendors, led initiatives to integrate privacy-preserving technolo- gies into AI development, including the creation of Aires’ Responsible Use of AI guidelines, and spearheaded readiness efforts for ISO 42001 Artificial Intelligence Management System certification.
