BAYVIEW VILLAGE MALL Don Fry’s participation in the renovation of Bayview Village – an upscale mall in Toronto – is drawing attention for its innovation of a completely isolated corridor that houses construction while keeping the mall open for customers. The entire work area is bound by walls of over 225 Layher Protect System panels that integrate seamlessly with Layher system scaffold, thus creating a division between construction and public mall areas. Opaque panels maintain a clean look for patrons and keep the renovation shielded from shoppers. “The alternative is plywood, or drywall and painting,” says Andrew Smith, General Manager, Don Fry Scaffold. “Protect panels provide a clean and linear finish that is visually more appealing to the patrons.” A PATRON VISITS BAYVIEW VILLAGE MALL DURING RENOVATION.
