b'FACTS & FIGURESFACTS & FIGURESAccording to Statistics Canada, building permit numbers through June 2020 were down 12 per cent compared to the same periodin 2019.The COVID-19 pandemic has clearly had an effect on building permit numbers across the board, and the June figures give us a good idea of just how much of an impact the pandemic has had. Every sector, with the exception of Industrial, is down at least 9 per cent compared to 2019.
