b'TCA NEWSTCA 2020 AGMMore than 140 members and guests attended TCAs 152nd Annual General Meeting on February 20 at Woodbine Racetrack. Chairman Albert Salvatore took the attending members through reports on the operational and financial health of the association and then introduced the 2020 chair, Brian Endacott of EllisDon. The agenda turned to the presentation of the TCA Best of the Best Awards, followed by the keynote address on technology by Mark Casaletto of ConstructConnect. (For more on the Awards and the keynote presentation, turn to pgs. 16 and 28.)2020 Chairman of the BoardBrian Endacott of EllisDon is the 2020 chairman of the TCA Board. Endacott has more than 40 years of experience in the construction industry, working in both the ICI and residential sectors. He provides leadership to site teams through insights into processes, site logistics and financial management. Throughout his career, Endacott has worked on a wide variety of projects, including Toronto General Hospital, Humber, Seneca and Centennial Colleges, and, currently, Mirvish Village. He is a graduate of Dawson College and a member of O.A.C.E.T.T as a certified engineering technician. In 2001, he began his involvement with TCA as a member of its Entertainment Committee, moving to chair the committee in 2005.
