First place for Best Commercial Product was awarded to Carlisle Construction Products (Carlisle SynTec Systems, Carlisle, Pennsylvania). Carlisle’s soon to be available Fleeceback RL RapidLock Roof- ing System is a revolutionary membrane attachment method that provides a fully adhered system without the use of adhesives. The RL system utilizes VELCRO Brand Securable Solutions, along with 115-mil Fleeceback RL EPDM or Fleeceback RL TPO, to achieve performance on par with traditional fully adhered single- ply systems. The RL system is VOC and odour-free, has no appli- cation restrictions, and provides significant labour savings thanks to the simplicity of the system and ease of installation. “Carlisle’s RapidLock system is a game-changer for contractors. No bonding adhesives are used, so no time is spent applying ad- hesive and waiting for flash-off. RapidLock installations are quick, quiet and odor-free, so this system is ideal for occupied buildings,” said Austin Kulp, Carlisle’s FleeceBACK Product Manager. Chad Buhrman, Carlisle’s Insulation Product Manager, said, “The RapidLock system can be installed in any temperature be- cause no bonding adhesive is used.
