Ontario Electrical Contractor 9 publication and we continue to undertake, JEPP is no longer supporting the Ground Inc. (Ground) program. We are conducting a search for a health and safety option that is more responsive and well-suited to the needs of our membership. We will, of course, keep you apprised of developments in this regard. Another program on which we are seeking input is the Registered Fire Alarm Contractor (RFAC). The JEPP-sponsored Certi-Fire program is training a great number of electricians, your employees, in fire alarm. Completion of the training qualifies the graduates to install, test, and verify fire alarm systems; systems which many of our members install. However, there are many of our members who do not take advantage of the RFAC program to test and verify these systems, thereby providing clients with “one stop shopping” for their fire alarm needs. For more information and to register as an RFAC, please contact Audrey Iozelli at the ECAO office. We are thrilled at the uptake of members utilizing TeksMed Services, whether for the handling of WSIB claims, WSIB advice, or the various other services they provide. For those who have yet to access the expertise of TeksMed, I encourage you to do so. In fact, this goes for all of our affiliate partners. As an integral part of our community, our affiliate partners represent numerous products and services available to ECAO members at reduced cost. Please peruse the list of affiliate partners on our website from time to time and afford them an opportunity to provide you with their services or products. Your Members Services Committee relies on your use of these products and services in order to ensure that we continue to partner with firms that are of benefit to you. I share Mark’s sentiments regarding our Annual General Meeting (AGM) and the '70s night that preceded the AGM. It was tremendous to see so many of our members and partners at both events. The biggest take away, for me at least, was that our community is clearly building and strengthening. On the heels of our success in Barcelona, the AGM and '70s night continued to forge kinship and shared goals. There is no doubt in my mind that we will ride this wave of momentum through the end of this year and beginning of 2019 due to the efforts and excitement that is palpable in our electrical community.
