b'SIAC WESTERN CANADA CHAPTER UPDATESIAC WESTERN CANADACHAPTER UPDATET he SIAC Western Canada Chapter has had two meetings in the Edmonton area since the province of Alberta has allowed for larger group gatherings. We held our first meeting on June 25 at RedTail Landing Golf Club and our second meeting on September 23 at the Ranch Golf & Country Club. Both meetings were well attended with the first focusing mainly on the COVID-19 pandemic and the effect it has had on both our personal and professional lives the past few months. We also spent time bringing the membership up to date regarding the unification of the SIAC Chapters across Canada. The second meeting was more business as usual; we were able to continue our discussions from our June meeting and also had Robert Ducharme from Tractel deliver a presentation showcasing Scanclimber products, which are now available here in North America. The members also benefitted from spending time at lunch together and socializing / networking on the golf course in the afternoon.Alberta Carpenters Training CentreWeve trained North Americas best scaffolders for 20 years. The Alberta Carpenters Training Centre has delivered its 3-year Scaffolder Apprenticeship and Carpenter JM Upgrade Scaffold Programs, as well as dozens of other safety and skill training programs, to thousands of students in three training centresEdmonton, Ft.
