We can more effectively meet the challenges of increased numbers of people living with dementia and ensure they live and stay longer in a privatehome setting. By incorporating community elements into care-home housing, we can work toward reducing the pressure on long-term care facilities while simultaneously increasing the quality of life for elderly people.
