INDUSTRY NEWSSUMMER 2019 Newland Chase opens third India office Newland Chase expanded its operations in India with the opening of its third bricks-and-mortar office, in Hyderabad. Combined with the company’s existing Delhi and Bangalore (Bengaluru) offices, this will enlarge Newland Chase’s footprint in the rapidly growing Indian market. “The addition of a physical location in Hyderabad will enhance our effectiveness in serving our growing client base in the south of India,” said Rohan Ghatge, managing director, India, Newland Chase. In other news, Newland Chase welcomed Jane Pilkington to its team as managing director, Ireland. In her role as head of Dublin-based business, Pilkington leads a team responsible for providing strategic immigration advisory services to multinational and national companies operating in Ireland. She joins Newland Chase from a large corporate law firm where she was a partner and led the business immigration practice. IN BRIEF  Bristol Global Mobility welcomed Mark Schueler as its new vice president, global business development. Schueler has more than 21 years of employee mobility experience throughout the Canadian market and will be based out of Bristol’s Toronto office.  Lance Allen joined Aires as their general manager of the west coast region. Allen has more than 30 years of global mobility industry experience, most recently in Hong Kong as the managing director for North Asia for a leading mobility firm.  Imperial Suites added Kurtis Silver to its Edmonton sales team, where his experience in property sales and management will be put to good use. Imperial Suites also expanded their Edmonton operations to include a new location in Sherwood Park.  Premiere Suites Western enlarged their Vancouver sales team with two new sales managers, Liliana Castro and Jennifer Steer. The company also relocated its offices in order to provide better access for guests and to facilitate its growing operations.  Bayview Hospitality Group of Hotels appointed Gloria Lau general manager of Homewood Suites by Hilton, Toronto/Oakville hotel. Lau has been with the company for eight years, most recently as sales manager. Joining the hotel as its new sales manager is Cheryl Nikolov.  Kyle Nelson took the reins at TransferEASE Relocation as its new president, replacing Vickie Campbell who moved to a senior role as part of a broader succession plan. Nelson has a dedicated investment in the company as an owner, as well as more than 11 years’ experience working on its business development. Weichert updates MyWIN Weichert Workforce Mobility released the latest version of MyWIN, the company’s high-tech relocation management system for corporate HR managers and mobile employees. The updated technology delivers a bold new look, easier navigation and a more intuitive user experience, states Weichert. Enhancements include one-click and no-click access to data such as total program spend, employee status and custom reports. This year’s event will take place Friday, September 13, just one day ahead of the annual CERC Conference, at the Royal Niagara Golf Club in Niagara-on-the-Lake. That’s just a short drive away from the venue for the CERC Conference in neighbouring Niagara Falls. CAM encourages conference attendees to head out a day early and join the 100-plus golfers that participate in the CAM Golf Day each year.
