At CPHR Manitoba, we recognize the power of human resources professionals in this equation and are actively working to ensure that our members are recognized for their knowledge, skills, experiences and the CPHR designation.According to the Manitoba Chambers of Commerces 2018 Manitoba Business Outlook Survey, 62 per cent of Manitoba Chamber members in Winnipeg and 42 per cent of members in greater Manitoba are aware of the CPHR designation; and 86 per cent of Manitoba Chamber members value that designated professionals abide by a Code of Ethics. This spike in awareness amongst business leaders is significant, considering only three per cent of business leaders across Canada were aware of the CPHR designation five years ago.And at the provincial and national level, CPHR Manitobas staff and Board of Directors have been meeting with government representatives, working with partners and developing new initiatives that communicate the value of HR inthe workplace.
