He worked on various projects, mainly on multi-unit residential housing complexes, and he would always take me and my siblings to the job site where wed get to see projects at all stages of construction. I always thought that was very interesting, so when it came time to choose my career, I decided on engineering. BE: Where did it take you?CM: First, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Manitoba. I worked in Winnipeg for a few years doing struc-tural engineering, but I also did a few projects in building science and enjoyed those projects. I later decided to move to Vancouver, where I got a job with RJC Engineers and worked in building science. I worked at RJC for about 12 years before moving to Morrison Hershfield (MH) in 2016.6 BCBEC ELEMENTSA BCBEC PUBLICATION'
