ASSOCIATION EVENTS AND BOARD MEETINGS ANDUnder the leadership of MCAC CEO Pierre Boucher, MCAC staff are working HIGHLIGHTING THE INDUSTRY AS A CAREER OFhard to ensure members have access to CHOICE FOR WOMEN.the resources and information needed to help them in their businesses. Whether it is through education, information on industry best practices or access to business resources, our members can look forward to many exciting initiatives inthe future.When I stepped into the role of MCAC President last year, I spoke about the promotion of prompt payment across Canada and the naming of subtrades in tender documents as some of the key industry issues we were seeking to address. I also noted that MCAC has taken a strong stance against the use of community benefits clauses in the procurement process and is working with Install a Freestandinglike-minded stakeholder groups to oppose the practice.
