I am especially grateful for the Scaffold Industry Association of Canadas (SIACs) members and partners who over the years have contributed so much of their time and effort to help grow the association and support our industry. Not only the COVID-19 pandemic, but the impact of the raw materials shortages, the skilled labour shortage and escalating inflation have all posed serious challenges to each of our businessesbut that has not stopped us. This year, SIACs Board of Directors met more than ever before. I would like to extend a sincere thank you to each of our directors for your continued support of SIAC, especially over the past few months.As many of you know, SIAC has long advocated for our members with regard to regulation interpretations in the field. This has included working collaboratively with the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development through the Scaffoldand AccessEquipment Sector Labour Management Committee.The work does not stop there. SIAC continues to lead activities with our allies, including the SAIA and other partners across Canada.
