On a sloped roof such as this, there needed to be something to help brace the welding machine and take the weight of the workers arms. A steel framing system with wheels was used and mounted to the front of the stage and a bungee cord was at-tached to the top of the frame and then to the welding machine. This helped take the weight of the machine off the worker and allowed for the worker to steady the machine and help keep the weld more consistent.
