With advocacy and leadership as a key focus, OLTCA has been able to influence legislative, policy and regulatory change, support sector expansion and redevelopment, and provide educational opportunities to ensure that the increasing needs of residents are being met with safe, high-quality care.Today, OLTCA is the largest association of long-term care providers in Canada and the only association that represents the full mix of long-term care operatorsprivate, not-for-profit, charitable and municipal. We represent nearly 70 per cent of Ontarios long-term care homes, located in communities across the province. Our members provide care and accommodation services to residents in more than 50,000 spaces annually.What we doOLTCA works to promote safe, quality long-term care for Ontarios seniors.
