With advocacy and leadership as a key focus, the Association has been able to influence legislative, policy and regulatory change, support sector expansion and redevelopment, and provide educational opportunities to ensure that the increasing needs of residents are being met with safe, high-quality care.Today, the Ontario Long Term Care Association is the largest association of long-term care providers in Canada and the only association that represents the full mix of long-term care operatorsprivate, not-for-profit, charitable and municipal. We represent nearly 70% of Ontarios 630 long-term care homes, located in communities across the province. Our members provide care and accommodation services to more than 70,000 residents annually.Our member homes are regulated by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and provide health care and a home to residents throughout Ontario.What we doThe Ontario Long Term Care Association works to promote safe, quality long-term care to Ontarios seniors.
