Ironworkerspiecedtogether107various elements to create a 3,625 track that alone weighed up to 1,334 tons.Theopeningoftheridewasan excitingeventforthepublic,butthe assemblyanderectionofthishigh-profile attraction brought a thrill to the Ironworkersandconstructorsbehind the scenes of the new coaster. Beingawardedthisjobwasahuge victoryforE.S.FoxLimited(aCISC ErectorMember).Thecompanywas the only unionized bidder pre-qualified forthiscovetedcontract,competing againstmanynon-unioncoaster builders in the U.S. and Quebec. Even aftererectionbeganonsite,E.S.Fox hadtofighttokeepthisjobinthe hands of unionized Ironworkers.
