b'Most of all, having the honour of serving as your president has beenaremarkableexperience.Ithasbeenbotheducational and fun. While reinforcing the need to view every issue from allpossiblepointsofview,Ihavealsobenefittedfromthe socialoutings, meetings, andcommitteesthatareanintegral part of the role. These outings have been so much more than mere appearances as an obligation. I have thoroughly enjoyed interacting, learningfrom, andbefriendingsomanyofyou who show up to support our community at these events, that I believe we are improving with each successive occasion. Through networking, social events, and meetings we are really coming together as an industry. For years a well-kept secret, ECAO has begun to assume a prominent role at industry events, have a seat at the table with our Provincial Government, contribute in meaningful ways to committee work that impacts our members, educate and inform, as well as professionally represent our members throughout the Province of Ontario.I am excited for our future and I look forward to remaining a part of our future. Thank you for allowing me the privilege of being intimately involved in the advancement of our association, our industry, and our partners. I wish for my successor all of the positive experiences and advancements in which I had the good fortune of being involved. Finally, I ask that you give your incoming president the level of support that you provided me during my tenure. There is no doubt that he will come away from his experience as fulfilled as I have, and will surely have fond memories of his time as president. These are great memories that I will not soon forget.Ontario Electrical Contractor5'
