Our raffle table was a huge success and we raised $2,000 for our local charity, Autism Niagara.The first ever joint Annual General Meetings (AGMs) of ECAO and the Joint Electrical Promotion Plan (JEPP) was held in Niagara Falls. Both AGMs were the best attended in the past few years. The Honourable Monte McNaughton kicked off the event, followed by keynote speakers Melanie Sodka and Paula Goebel. Sherri Haigh, Director of Marketing for JEPP, reviewed JEPPs achievements over the year, which included several commercials and videos promoting unionized electrical work in Ontario. JEPPs Government Relations firm, Rubicon, provided a review of key government meetings held over the year by ECAO, IBEW/CCO and JEPP representatives with Aaron Gairdiner and Kory Teneycke.
