While my career e a n e n e r g yhas changed in the last few years, my focus is still on enabling inclusive participation of Indigenous communities and businesses, and I still believe wholeheartedly in p a r t n e r s h i p sthe opportunity that exists for these communities and businesses in the clean w i l l p l a y aenergy transformation that is coming.Prior to making the switch to president and CEO of the Canadian Council for Aboriginal c r i t i c a l r o l e i nBusiness (CCAB), I managed the First Nations and Mtis relations team at the Independent Electricity System Operator in Ontario from 2014 to 2018. During those four years, t h e l o w - c a r b o nI worked to build requirements to ensure that First Nations and Mtis communities in Ontario were active partners in the energy sector.
