This issue features 1020 Legacy Way, completed in 2019 and looking to be the first multi-family Passive House building in Whistler; a case study on the impact of test preparation on whole building airtightness; and A Life in Building Science by Alex McGowan.Our 2023 AGM and Conference - Back to Basics will be on October 20th at the JW Marriott Parq in Vancouver. The conference will be an in-person event and, as always, we are looking forward to connecting with our members and sponsors. Our AGM and Conference Planning Committee wanted to reflect on the past 30 years, what we have learned over this time and what is in store for the future. We will have Dave Ricketts from RDH provide a retrospective look at the evolution of building performance and many other great presentations on new technologies in using IR cameras for energy audits, and the upcoming embodied carbon code changes in the City of Vancouver, just to name a few. We hope to see our members join us for this great event.As always, we owe the success of our magazine to our advertisers.
